The Penthouse

Have you ever wanted to live in a penthouse? Or, at the very least, just stay in one for a weekend? Just to see what the big deal about penthouses are. Perhaps you've seen ads for Lumiere - 770 Bay Street penthouses and just wondered to yourself what those look like live, close and in person. You wouldn't be the only one. The penthouse is a dream living situation that many people have. Mainly due to movies and television shows who would have a lot of their characters stay in penthouses and then make viewers want to put up their Toronto condominium for sale and move into a penthouse.

The penthouse suites you see in movies and television shows aren't quite like the average penthouse you'd see in real life though. If you're curious as to what a real penthouse looks like but have no means of seeing one then let us describe to you what a penthouse looks like.

What you might see if you were to leave your Toronto condo and directly step foot through the doors of a penthouse would be a huge living space! We mean massive. Located on the top level of buildings the penthouse suite can encompass a living area equal to that of multiple floors of a condo or apartment building. Some penthouse suites can also even be two levels or more! The large living space and amount of walking around room in penthouses is usually the first selling point any Toronto or Edmonton real estate agents will make when trying to sell you on a penthouse.

Other features of the penthouse suite includes appliances that are top-of-the-line and high-end, luxurious flooring, private elevator entrance directly in the penthouse suite, higher than normal ceilings, fireplace, terrace, windows that are over-sized, large den space, jacuzzi, luxury kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, breakfast island, city skyline view, sophisticated technology systems such as moisture sensors to detect leaks, temperature sensors that can be set up to send alerts directly to your e-mail, and anemometers that measures wind speed so that the canvas awning on the terrace can be retracted if it gets too windy out, and Feng Shui interior design.

As you can see the penthouse suite has a lot of features that you wouldn't find in most normal condo or apartment suites. We hope we did a good job of describing the penthouse so that you now have a visual in your mind of what a penthouse suite looks like. If you're ever looking at condos for sale in downtown Toronto you should take the opportunity to go to a penthouse suite viewing just to see one in person.
